Redpath is one of the world's leading underground mining contractors, delivering safe, innovative and productive mining solutions across the globe. We are currently seeking experienced Truck Operators to join our high-performing team at the Renison Project in Tasmania.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a long-term underground mining operation while enjoying an excellent 1 week on, 1 week off DIDO roster that supports a genuine work-life balance.

About the Role

The Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating a truck to haul ore and waste products to the surface.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently, including conducting pre-start inspections and maintaining high equipment housekeeping standards.
• Transport ore and waste to designated locations and complete re-entries into work areas as required.
• Communicate effectively with loader and truck operators to support safe traffic management and operational efficiency.
• Comply with all site procedures, safety requirements, and operational instructions, always ensuring safe and effective work practices.
• Contribute to team performance and continuous improvement by participating in meetings, toolbox talks, shift handovers, and improvement initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Relevant experience in heavy industry, mining, or quarrying.
• Current licences and certifications, including a valid manual driver's licence and First Aid & CPR certificate.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Commitment to safety, demonstrating a safety-first approach in all work activities.
• Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
